South Coast Resort Homes is one of the few true Authentic Design + Build programs in the country whereas the Builders are the actual Designers as well. Together, C. Michael Jones and Tim Pelham have amassed 95 years of actual experience on all three Coasts establishing themselves as true

As a 1974 Cum Laude Graduate from the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University, Mike Jones is one of the few Builders in the Dallas area that can claim over 47 years of custom home building experience with an architectural degree and background in design.
He personally designs his own homes as well as homes for select individuals and other luxury custom home builders. His designs can be found throughout Dallas's most prestigious neighborhoods, including Preston Hollow, Highland Park, University Park, Willow Bend, Shoal Creek, Oakdale, Kings Gate, Kings Lake, Starwood and The Hills of Kingswood in Frisco. In addition to Texas, his designs can also be found in Florida, Colorado, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
With an Architectural background, his appreciation for a wide variety of styles, Mediterranean, Tuscan, French, English, Texas Hill Country, Contemporary and Transitional, is not limited to any singular architectural style.
He has also participated in numerous Parade of Homes garnishing numerous awards and accolades from not only the general public, but also within the real estate and building communities. His portfolio of awards includes the 1999 McSam Luxury Home of the Year as well as a compilation of his homes being noted in D Magazine's 2004 "Best Place to Live" as well as the "2017 ARC award for the Best Luxury New Home Over 2 Million".

He personally supervises each job with regular on-site inspections and manages the proper oversight of material selections and scheduling along with maintaining great working relationships with top line Vendors and Sub-Contractors.
C. Michael Jones combines the artistry and the passion for architecture and building, combined with 45 years of experience in the custom home building industry to provide his select clients with creative designs, unparalleled quality and the personal attention discriminating clients deserve.
In 1980, Tim Pelham founded and over the next 5 years, built The Pelham Group into an award-winning 35 man Design Firm which was selected as the “No. 2 Residential Design Firm” in the U.S. by Professional Builder Magazine in 1985. The firm is known best for the personal Estate Home designs of many well-known Celebrities, Professional Athletes, and Business Leaders. The firm's award-winning designs were published over 250 times in major housing publications.

As a featured Designer in Professional Builder Magazine's “A Guide to Proven Design”, and numerous other publications, The Pelham Group remained at the forefront of design innovation and national marketing trends. Additionally, The Pelham Group’s designs have been featured in national advertising campaigns of prominent building material manufactures, such as Eljer Corporation, Marvin Windows, Kitchen-Aid and ACME Brick.

Throughout his 45-year career, he has designed over 20,000 housing units, ranging from multi-million dollar Estate Homes to Volume Builder's product lines in all 50 U.S. States, Canada, Mexico, Japan New Zealand, and Brazil.

He appeared as a Co-Host on the Saturday morning television show "DFW Homes Today" as well as a rotating Co-Host on the National Association of Home Builder's Saturday afternoon talk radio program.

In 1992, he founded his own design/build firm called, The Pelham Collection and quickly became a leader in the Dallas high end market. By year three, it was selected by Better Homes & Gardens Magazine as one of “America’s Top Builders”.
The firm's success was based on creating a unique concept he called “Resort Homes” that was first featured in the 1992, 1995, and 1998 HAB's Parade of Homes in Dallas. After living in Hollywood for 15 years, he is now introducing some of that exciting flair into the Texas market!
